here is a really easy recipe that takes hardly any time and hardly any fuss. Take your favorite meatloaf recipe and prepare the meat just as you would for the oven whether you like ketchup in it or breadcrumbs or peppers or brown gravy...any kind of meatloaf recipe will work for this,
roll small pieces of the raw meat mixture into cylinder shapes and wrap them in a raw cabbage leaf hold together with a toothpick.
you can arrange your stuffed cabbage in both the top and bottom trays however because you're using cabbage and you're using meatloaf I would go a little longer than the normal 6 minutes per pound I would actually microwave it 8 to 10 minutes per pound on 75%heat or high heat but still no longer than 25 minutes if this means you have to make two batches in order to feed your family that's fine but you'll be surprised how much 2 pounds of meatloaf will go with stuffed cabbage...
remember to let anything you microwave sit for 5 minutes after you're finished cooking in order to ensure that your meat is completely cooked in fact I wait 5 minutes extra per pound just to be on the safe side.
you can use turkey meat and ground chicken in this recipe as well. I've not done that but I'm sure it will be delicious and just remember that there's no real trick to Micro steaming it is just trial and error most of the time, but I like this one because it is your vegetables and meats all in one. You can choose a starch like potatoes and in fact if you have a small family you can do the cabbage in the bottom of the steamer and your potatoes on top and everything's done in less than 25 minutes...all the best
